Ruth Mosdell (f)

Ruth Mosdell is "our midwife". She is attached to Lido Medical Practice and our patients can choose to have their antenatal care as "Shared Care" in the practice. Ruth leads the antenatal care, but certain antenatal scheduled appointments are with the GP. Ruth's time is funded by the hospital and the GP input is on a fixed price scheme. This is a pilot project that started in October 2013 - please ask at reception if you are interested.

Ruth is in the practice every Tuesday afternoon. She contacts all our newly pregnant patients on receipt of the antenatal referral and their initial "Booking Visit" is in the practice.
