Who is this service for?
This service is for adults who are concerned about a single mole and want it checked by Dr.Harumi Yamamoto with a second assessment from a Dermatology Consultant.
This skin cancer screening service takes up to 15 minutes for one to three moles.
How does it all work?
Dr.Yamamoto will use a dermoscopic lens to take a high-quality, detailed image beneath the surface of the mole. This will show features invisible to the naked eye and enable diagnosis of the very earliest skin cancers. We screen for Melanoma, Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
Our Mole Check includes a Mole Check Report. To ensure the highest level of diagnosis all our dermoscopic images are sent for rapid remote review by a specialist doctor.
We will issue a Mole Check Report, with advice by the Dermatologist, within 5 working days.
If the mole is suspect for skin cancer we can arrange a rapid referral to one of the skin cancer clinics on the Island.
Our Mole Check Reports are routinely accepted by major private medical insurers as meeting referral requirements.
